My name is Cerie Fish Goldenberg. I have dedicated all 40 years of my professional life practicing Social Work in Montgomery County, PA. I earned a Masters Degree of Social Work from the University of Toronto and I am a licensed Social Worker in Pennsylvania.
I was an active participant in the growth of Montgomery County Office on Aging and Adult Services developing needed services and resources for both younger and older adults.
After 40 years of being a problem solver and advocate for those in need, including my parents who lived into their 90’s and chose to remain in their home, I remain passionate about providing the highest level of service possible to those individuals for whom we are providing care.
It is my vision that those of us who choose to remain in their home to be given the opportunity to do so in a safe and dignified manner. Hence, the birth of Reliant at Home Care.
A native of Montgomery County Pennsylvania, David first found his passion for helping older adults while working in a local retirement community for 5 years while in high school and college. David was also closely involved in both sets of grandparents lives.
David enjoys developing relationships with older adults and knows how important it is for them to carry on in life as independently as possible. The value of doing for one’s self is prominent.
As a result of David’s positive experiences, David decided to start Reliant at Home Care to provide a service to the community that would have a positive impact on the lives of older adults.
“My goal is to enable as many older adults to remain at home for as long as they are safely able to do so. Aging can be a difficult, lonely and overwhelming journey.” It is David’s goal to include all older adults, no matter what income strata, to remain in familiar surroundings. As a result, David has made sure that Reliant at Home Care is involved in the Aging Wavier Program, The Options Program and the VA Veterans’ Aid and Attendance Program. It is David’s goal to be all inclusive.
David is hands-on and dedicated to providing quality non-medical home care services to our community of older adults.
